Privacy Policy
This notice explains what Seqo stores, why it is used, and the choices available to account holders.
1. Data Seqo processes
Seqo stores account details such as username, email address, password-derived authentication data, sessions, library items, timeline order, watched episodes, ratings, notes, reviews, account settings, recovery records, moderation status, and data-export requests. Passwords are not stored as readable text.
2. Why the data is used
The information is used to create and secure accounts, synchronize the watch tracker, provide recovery and administration features, prevent abuse, respond to account requests, and operate the service. Movie and series metadata is requested from TMDB through Seqo’s backend.
3. Service providers
Seqo uses Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, server functions, database storage, security, and delivery. TMDB supplies movie and series metadata. An authorized playback provider may receive title, season, and episode identifiers when Watch Now is used.
4. Retention
Account data is retained while the account is active and as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and administer Seqo. Expired sessions and recovery links may be deleted. Export approvals expire automatically. Some records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
5. Your choices and rights
You can update your username and password in Seqo. You can request an export of your account data from Profile; an administrator reviews the request before the download is enabled. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by contacting the address above.
6. Account moderation
Administrators may temporarily suspend or indefinitely ban an account to protect users, enforce the Terms, respond to abuse, or meet legal and security obligations. Where provided, Seqo displays the reason and the end time of a temporary suspension.
7. Security
Seqo uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including hashed passwords, HTTP-only sessions, limited recovery links, and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Seqo is not intended for anyone below the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction without appropriate authorization. The operator may remove accounts that cannot lawfully use the service.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as Seqo changes. Material changes should be communicated through the app or this page. Effective date: July 18, 2026.
